Company History
ERIKS North America, Inc. has been built through a series of acquisitions. It is not surprising then that the roots of the ERIKS in North America family tree travel in many directions.
ERIKS was founded in 1940 in Alkmaar, The Netherlands. ERIKS started to acquire companies in North America in 1988, however they began to heavily invest in the North America market in 2010. Take a look at a high level history of the four major companies that ERIKS acquired in North America:

Lewis-Goetz
As of June 1st, 2018, Lewis-Goetz and its United States subsidiaries changed its name to ERIKS North America. Lewis-Goetz was founded in 1935. Lewis-Goetz has a footprint of nearly 90 locations across the United States and Canada and provides mission critical hose, gasket and conveying system solutions to customers.

Rawson
In 1954, Rawson was founded in Houston, Texas. Rawson supplies instrumentation, valve and controls distributor out of service centers throughout Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Mexico. In addition to an expansive product portfolio, Rawson’s value added services include technical training classes, steam trap operational surveys and energy audits, component consolidation for specific installation activities, and complex valve automation and instrumentation solutions.
Industrial Controls
Industrial Controls, founded in 1976, is a full service distributor of controls and solutions for commercial HVAC, process control and industrial automation applications. With coverage in 22 states from Maine to Georgia and west to Wisconsin, Industrial Controls makes it easy for customers to successfully apply our products by offering an extensive range including consulting and technical training programs.
ERIKS Seals and Plastics
ERIKS acquired its first specialist distributor of sealing technology in North America in 1988 who is now known as ERIKS Seals and Plastics. ERIKS Seals and Plastics is a leading technical resource for seals, engineered plastics and bearings required for demanding applications. They provide customers with the unique combination of product and material expertise combined with efficient, customized logistics.
